Welcome to our Travel Adventures Program, designed for older adults seeking exciting journeys and lasting memories. With monthly day trips and local outings, we explore diverse destinations, from scenic walks to cultural and culinary experiences. Along the way, participants forge new friendships, uncover hidden gems, and celebrate the joy of adventure together. Join us in rediscovering the world and embracing the spirit of exploration!

 

Please note that our policy states all payments for our Travel Adventure Program are non-refundable. In the event you are unable to attend, your payment will be considered a donation to support our ongoing initiatives.

April 8th | Charlotte History Museum

Description: Join us for a fascinating guided tour of the Charlotte Museum of History, where the past comes to

life through inclusive storytelling and engaging exhibits. Explore Charlotte’s rich heritage, including the 1774 Rock House & Homesite, and discover how history shapes our community today. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, connect, and experience the Queen City’s story firsthand!

Description: Join us for a delightful springtime excursion to Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, where nature awakens in a breathtaking display of color and beauty. Nestled along the banks of Lake Wylie, this 380-acre garden offers a serene retreat filled with blooming flowers, lush greenery, and peaceful walking trails.

Description: Have you ever been curious about the building that Shepherd’s Center calls home? Join us for a special tour of the St. John’s Baptist Church. We'll gather first in the beautiful 100-year-old sanctuary, where the church’s historian will share fascinating insights into the church’s rich history. Afterward, we’ll embark on a walking tour of the facility. Come experience the spaces in a new way and deepen your connection to the place where we gather and grow together!
