Recall, organize and capture the thoughts and memories that you want to save for yourself and future generations. This five-hour class will teach you the steps of creating your personal history and simple methods of writing clearly and concisely, even if you haven’t written an essay since your senior year in high school. Class preparation includes mentally inventorying the times of your life you want to capture and writing down names and relationships that have been important to you.
The guest instructor is Susan Dickens, who specializes in communication services that include creative strategy, direction and writing. She has taught a variety of writing classes and has worked with individuals across the spectrum of experience and comfort with writing.
- Limited to 20 students.
- Class will be held at Brookdale Carriage Club, 5800 Old Providence Rd., 28226. We will meet in the card room.
- Class date is Monday, November 27, 2017 from 10:00 AM—3:00 PM.
- Please bring a laptop or paper notebook.
